Good Friends

My good friend Gregg Parris went golfing with me a while back.  (Notice the sunshine, green hue and short sleeves, proving it was some time ago.)  This is Gregg with his son Aaron. 

Sheila and I have done life and ministry with Gregg and his wife Beth for more than 20 years.  We've raised our families, built memories and shared leadership strategies along the way.  Gregg is the Senior Pastor of Union Chapel Ministries in Muncie.  His church is remarkable - vibrant, growing and strong. He is a great man.

Once a year we meet for lunch.  Once a year we vacation together.  We invest the time and energy that keeps our friendship strong.   

I'm looking forward to seeing Gregg again.  Today is our day for lunch with our wives.  Sheila is going to drive and I'm going to write (I've got an article coming due) as we head towards our rendezvous. Good times!
