How sweet are your words to my taste; they are sweeter than honey. Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.
- Psalm 119:103-105
Sheila spotted this swarm of bees during our hike in Honeybee Canyon. (What a time for me to be without my telephoto lens! I snapped this from crazy close but still survived...)
I thought, “How many of us would like to taste honey but don’t pay the price to harvest it? Sure we’d like to 'taste and see' that the Lord is good; sure we’d thrill to the sweet taste of God’s words; sure we want understanding."
Question is, “How many of us desire the sweetness of God’s guidance but don’t pay the price to harvest it?”
His words are available and they are sweeter than honey. If we're willing we can have them.
