I'm proud of my son.
He's chosen a good path.
He's turned his feet in a good direction.
He's following Christ.
I prayed for Aaron today.
I prayed for his sisters too.
And their husbands.
I believed my prayers make a difference.
Are you praying for your sons and daughters?
Are you praying for their spouses?
Who did you pray for today?
James 5:16b - The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
One of the young ladies in our congregation lost her 4 month old son this week. I prayed for her and her family, but I also pray for mine. I'm holding them a little bit tighter this week. Even though it's a tragedy, I can see God at work through our community and her family, and I thank the Lord for that. They will get through this a little easier because they have the faith to let God comfort them. I definitely pray for my kids today, and your's too pastor Beeson. God Bless and thanks for an inspiring blog.

I have a prayer list in my Moleskine that I pray through every day. Relatives. Friends. Decisions. College kids. Those far from God. But at the top of my list is my bride, followed by my oldest daughter and then my youngest, her husband and our grandson. Without fail they are prayed for. Thanks for the reminder Mark.
