I never grew up hunting but love being outdoors, no doubt it reminds me of God's Greatness and love. THis past weekend I was given a Card that reminded me of that as well and it's something happening all over the world.

WOW! The buck was huge, but the place where it was hanging was great. All wood and I could almost smell the timber. My Dad was from the U.P. and we would go every summer. My Grandparents place had a wood stove which had to be stoked every day which ment chopping wood. What a great smell. My Dad and I would go fishing almost every day getting up before sun rise and getting on a clear, calm lake at day break with virgin woods all around and only my Dad and I on the lake. I was not a Christian at that time but as I look back I remember Jesus was speaking to my soul through nature.
Romans 1:19-20 "For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.Ever since the creation of the world his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse;"
