Jeff Bell was teaching our Journey Bible Class on Joshua when I took this picture. He is the pastor running point on our Elkhart services and he told me, "This weekend is the last weekend we're holding services in the cinema." So if you want to be part of the last big blow out service at the Encore Cinemas (2701 Cassopolis Street, Elkhart) you better be there Sunday at 9:30 AM.
Where are we going?
We're moving our Elkhart service to the RV Hall of Fame (County Road 17 at the Toll Road). It's big, bright, clean and perfectly located for our growing church. Jeff is pumped. His team is pumped. His leaders are pumped. I'm pumped too! You'll understand our excitement when you see this.
We're going to have services in the Hall of Fame on March 29th and April 5th. Those two weekends will help us get ready for Easter weekend, because the site goes public on Easter Sunday. That's when we have our first "open to the pubic" service in the RV Hall of Fame. Grab a friend and bring them along. We'll build a new service in our new meeting place....together!
2 Kings 6:1-2 - One day the prophets said to Elisha, "The place where we meet with you is too small. Why don't we build a new meeting place near the Jordan River? Each of us could get some wood, then we could build it." "That's a good idea," Elisha replied, "get started."
