Check this out. It's Bradley United Methodist Church's VBS (Greenfield, IN) in 1960. A friend just sent it to me and I've enjoyed looking at my old buddies.
Sheila is on the second row, far left. (Yeah, we grew up in the same church.)
My brother Matt is on the first row, second from the left.
I'm in the middle of the back row.
Have you put your child, or grandchild, in GCC's children's ministry? Where will they be five decades from now? Have you thought about the path you are leading your kids to follow?
Proverbs 22:6 - Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
This is an awesome picture, Mark! You and Matt have changed very little over these decades. Since I'm not in this picture, I am assuming I had the responsibility of taking it...I should have told Sheila to "look this way!" (:
Love you guys! Hope you are enjoying Thanksgiving weekend with your awesome family. I'm guessing, but bet 'cha Ruby has been a focal point of your holiday!

Great post, as usual. My wife attended VBS as a child, and has led our church's VBS program for a few years. The seeds we plant in our children today will reap a wonderful garden down the road.
Spend time with your children!
