This afternoon I was driving past an orchard when I noticed thousands of apples still hanging on the trees. They should have been picked long ago, but they'd never been harvested and now hung as bright red reminders of wasted potential.
All that fruit was lost,
I thought of Jesus' words and felt the pain of a good harvest left in the field.
Luke 10:2 - Jesus told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
Thanks for stopping to get the picture. I fancy myself a photographer and often see things while I'm driving that I would love to take a picture of, but don't often do it. I almost always have the camera with me, I just don't take the time to stop and get the shot. I'm glad you do.
