Sunday morning I presented Mark Waltz to GCC's congregation worshipping at our Elkhart site. I announced the news in both services: Mark is our Elkhart pastor. It was a great morning, opening the door to a great future. I couldn't be more excited about the our new vision, Mark's new assignment or our church's New Normal Project.
Mark serves GCC on my Senior Management Team. He loves Jesus. He loves his wife Laura. He loves his daughter Olivia. He loves the church and he's committed to our mission, vision and values. He'll lead Elkhart with integrity, dignity and courage.
Mark is the author of First Impressions and Lasting Impressions.
You can follow him on Twitter here.

I trust Mark.
You can too.
Hebrews 13:17a - Be responsive to your pastoral leaders. Listen to their counsel. They are alert to the condition of your lives and work under the strict supervision of God. Contribute to the joy of their leadership.
That is SO exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for Mark and Laura!!!

Hoo-flippin'-RAY! The Hall of Fame won't know what hit it. Does Waltz own any jeans that are "RV-casual"?

I am inspired seeing growth and vision here! There is a huge difference between CHURCHIANITY & CHRISTIANITY! The people are the Church! It is not a building. While many are dying into a godless eternity in neighborhoods right outside the walls of buildings, not many Churches are doing anything about it! Pastors in a majority need to stop playing CHURCHIANITY & get to CHRISTIANITY!! The food drop was a powerful example of showing the love of God in a relevant and real way. I would love to see alter calls, praying for one another, community prayer, etc. In the days ahead we must feel connected and united in Christ as His body and reaching out to our world as Christ has commissioned us to do. May we as Christians have His love and compassion. May the Lord bless you, Pastor Mark/GCC leadership!
