This gargantuan male is pushing 500 pounds and he's an unpleasant fellow, but I like the deceptive image of peace and tranquility his pose suggests.
Apparently, his motto is: "Sleep 'til you're hungry, eat 'til you're sleepy."
I've met some people who live the same way, the only time you can approach them is when they're soundly asleep and oblivious to your presence, and no one wants to be near them when they're awake. Like this great beast, those folks are living proof that "the self-centered life," choosing "self" first and serving "self" first, isn't attractive to anyone. In fact, the "self-absorbed" life is disgusting.
Isaiah 66:3a,3c
Your acts of worship
are acts of sin;
You choose self-serving worship,
you delight in self-centered worship—disgusting!
All I can say is _ Amen brother!
