Smoked Ribs in the Great Smoky Mountains

Chasing these guys up the mountain trails last week as we talked about life, marriage, kids, family and faith was the high privilege of my life.

I love these men.

Left to right you see my son Aaron, Amber's husband Ryan and Angela's husband John. They are Masters of the Grill joyfully engaged in their ritual of "Man Time," preparing a memorable family feast in the Smoky Mountains. 

I'm the beneficiary of their faith, their strength, their character and their love - and I cherish the time we shared last week.

I'm a better man because of them.

Proverbs 27:17  -   Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
