Aaron did Florida's Ford Ironman 70.3 last Sunday. In this race participants swim 1.2 miles, get out of the water and bike 56 miles, then run 13.1 miles as fast as they can. After training for months Aaron's race went off without a hitch.
I couldn't be happier for Aaron. Accomplishing a lofty goal is a thrill. His strict training and determination paid huge dividends.
Well done Aaron. Well done!
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. (1 Corinthians 9:25-27)
Pass along to Aaron that he is the MAN! That is unbelievable. Good for him, no...great for him!

As one who was privileged to witness, in person, Aaron cross the finish line of that 70-plus mile grueling event, I think it is worth noting that he wasn't even winded! Aaron looked like he had just gone for a stroll in the park. The discipline and dedication it took to get him into that kind of physical shape is super impressive. Congrats to Aaron on an awesome accomplishment.
