Best Practices for Mobilizing Members for Ministry

 

I did a video shoot for Rick during the break.  It was training for pastors who have no other training. I felt honored to offer something to pastors in need. Rick something about "the global glory of God...," so I was in after that.

The last panel of the day was comprised of some great pastors: Joel Hunter (Northland), Jonathan Falwell (Thomas Road), Dave Stone (Southeast Christian) and Bil Cornelius (Bay Area Fellowship).

Troy Gramling (Flamingo Road) was going to be on the panel but he just received notice that his mother had an aneurysm so he had to rush home. Pray for him and his family.

The reason for my letter is to inform you of the great event happening on August 2nd, 2008 as commented on the article below. National Day Of Christian Evangelism

Dear Pastor and fellow believer,

National Day Of Christian Evangelism is soon approaching; a massive Christian evangelistic outreach event which will take place on August 2nd, 2008. We pray that this outreach will be so great and powerful like never seen before, where many Christians will take to the streets and share the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.

Jesus has commanded all believers to preach the Gospel to all people and make disciples (Mark 16:15; Mathew 28:19). A massive invasion on a single day into the camp of the enemy will be a tremendous blow to the kingdom of darkness and I believe that many souls will be rescued and won into the Kingdom of God. This massive same day invasion can only be accomplish by Christian believers, regardless of denominational affiliation, responding to the orders of God and joining together to form a great and mighty spiritual army in the hands of God. We pray that God will touch and call all Christian Churches and Believers to look beyond the denominational barriers and come together based upon the only doctrinal issue, which joins us together, Salvation in Jesus Christ; the love of God revealed towards all of mankind. Jesus is the only hope for humanity and the only way common to all Christian Churches, Individuals, Organizations, and Institutions, which bring us into reconciliation and relationship with the only true and living God.

We are encouraging every Christian Church and Christian Believer to come together and take part in this massive evangelism outreach. Imaging such a mighty army, composed of Christians from all denominations, marching upon the cities, invading every subdivision and neighborhood, and on a single day share the Gospel of Salvation with as many people as possible. Imaging thousands of Christians lifting up the person of Jesus all around the nation, holding up signs alongside the road, displaying car’s and yard signs, going door to door distributing tracks and sharing the Gospel in residential and public areas, conducting outdoors Christian festivals, revivals, and many other types of Christian events which lift up the name of Jesus.

Jesus said, “If I be lifted up from the earth I will draw all men unto me.”

If Christians just lift up and share Jesus with others, He will do the rest. The Holy Spirit will convict the people of sin, justice, and unrighteousness. Many will be saved. The cities will be transformed. God will be glorified.

I encourage believers everywhere in the nation to get together in their respective cities and plan, coordinate and organize interdenominational evangelism outreach allowing the world to see the unity among Christian Believers. In Clarksville, TN, an initial coordination and planning meeting for the Clarksville and surrounding area invasion will take place on Thursday, June 5th, 2008 at 6:30 PM.
