This morning John Keim opened the Bible and taught the campers the importance of continued growth. He said they should run hard for Jesus. He said they should train diligently and prepare well.
He told them to run, to run the race God has set before them.
He said, "Run! Run hard. Run your race at your pace." Good advice, isn't it. Since you can't run anyone else's race, you better run your race. Since your pace depends on your training and preparation (as well as God's ordained plan) you better run your pace...just as fast as you can go!
I think the kids got it.
1 Corinthians 9:24 - "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize."
