What??? No other book can and should replace the Bible. There are other books that are useful along beside the Bible but not to use the Bible in the church.....No, never!

I have a hard time understanding the "old testement"....But love the "New Testement" I enjoy getting other peoples imputs like authors such as Mark Batterson, N.T. Write, Chuck Swindoll, Tim Stevens.

other peoples point of views are important to me because I just can't rely on myself to to be right about everything all the time. Not even half the time. Not even a quarter of the time.

Scripture is important. And it's important to have. To memorize. And it for sure can save your life. To every asspect. But is hard to grasp.

Especially for new comers. Alot of people give up because of the stress. There has been times I have been on my knees yelling at God because the walk he has put me through has been a difficult one. I guess it's the doing that is the most difficult for me. The disipline. And I'm sure that has been why my walk has been so hard. If I could just learn to let go. Like Pastor Rob has taught last week. I would be alot better off. I would probably have already been where God wanted me.

I constantly have people trying to get me involved in other ministries. I don't think I can take much more than I already have. I have our Pastors at G.c.c I have authors like the ones I named up above. I have what I feel everyone should take advantage of Is the Bible on Dvd. I leaave it on while I go to sleep. And when I wake up it's still going. I still miss alot of things in just doing that.

You want to hear something funny? I woke up to the sound of either Job or Jeremiah. I don't remember which one. But they were sobbing. I had to get up out of bed and turn the dvd off it was just too disturbing. I had to put some music on to get it out of my head.lol! It sound like me sobbing I guess that's why it was so disturbing.lol

I even use the internet to find like "The One Year Bible On Line" Or daily devotionls. I like "purpose driven Devotionals the best. Their sent to my e-mail so I can't miss them. I don't mine sharing that stuff with others. So I forward it. I try to be as creative as I can when I send my e-mails. To help others know me better and what I love. And even where I hurt. God has giving me a whole different view of things.

I find God in music and movies. More now than I ever have.

When we begin to feel the pressures of information overload then it's time to shut down and return to center (Christ).
His message has been and always will be the only information we really need. Scripture is never useless. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.
