Our staff meets every week, and every week it's the same, only different.
It's the same because we always spend the first 20 minutes encouraging each other with reports of progress. It's like an old-fashioned-testimony meeting where the preacher calls on people who one-by-one tell the others "what God has done."
It's different because the next 20 minutes change each week.
This week Rob Wegner opened the fire-hose and invited us to step into the torrent of our Entermission ministry strategy."This is how most churches have conceived and engaged missional ministry in the past," he said. Then he paused, drew a diagram and went on, "And this is our implementation strategy. This is how we do it at GCC ..." With that he took us through a brilliant and inspiring overview of our approach to missions. We sat and listened to one of the leading missiologists in America for 20 minutes. It was astounding.

I love Rob. He is amazing.
1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 - My friends, we ask you to be thoughtful of your leaders who work hard and tell you how to live for the Lord. Show them great respect and love because of their work.
I agree, Rob is amazing. This new way to implement the way the church does missions is going to revolutionize mission work and help people tremedously, I just know it. It was really great to hear the history behind this amazing movement, way to go Rob and team!!
