Sheila and I realized we might not have another opportunity to see Amber and Ryan before our grandchild is born, so we did what grand-parenting-neophytes tend to do. We reacted to the emotion of the moment, jumped in the car and drove all the way to Grand Rapids for a quick visit.

I don't know if you remember me (I was from your youth group in Farmland) and I remember when Amber was born. You sure sound like a very proud Grandpa! Congrats!
