Check out the little guy.
Ears laid back. Posturing for dominance. Feisty, eh? Chickens aren't the only animals with a "pecking order," and this fawn is apparently questioning the dominance of a half-rack buck.
It's funny, isn't it; how dangerous it can be to misread your opposition? This young deer is about to learn an important lesson; don't be too quick to judge or you might underestimate the battle ahead.
He might need a little help with this one.
How about you? Where are you picking a fight?
Are you fighting the selfishness that led to your personal debt?
Are you in a battle with self-indulgence that led to fat and fatigue?
Are you challenging poverty, hunger and illiteracy in the community?
Are you ready to wage war on addiction, lying and selfishness?
The fight you're picking may be more difficult than you've imagined, but you don't have to battle alone. When you stand up to evil and admit what Paul confessed in Romans 7, "I have the desire to do what is good but I cannot carry it out," you'll discover God is ready to help you. God stands with you to see that justice is done and mercy is offered. With God's help GOOD can win!
So fight the good fight, fear no man, and respect the awesome power of God.
Micah 6:8-9 - The Lord God has told us what is right and what he demands: "See that justice is done, let mercy be your first concern, and humbly obey your God. I am the Lord, and it makes sense to respect my power...".
I am battling with not having a job, and allowing myself to step out, and let God bring me to the job of His choosing. My mind is a tornado.
