Our family went on a hike in the mountains. We trekked up and up, across Eagle Falls and along the ravine, all the way up the mountain to Eagle Lake. It was about as beautiful a place as I've seen, so I asked Aaron and Tracy if they'd stand in front of the lake while I took a picture. They obliged and now I've got a better picture of Aaron and Tracy than I have of Eagle Lake.
I've got great kids.
I've built great memories with them.
I asked God for both and received in abundance.
Sometimes you get more than you asked for, and for that I thank God.
1 Corinthians 2:9b - No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.
I'm so glad I ran into you today. Seeing you and Kim kept me from bursting out into tears over this silly phone mess. Here is a link to one of the articles about the girl who shot the black bear. Enjoy the rest of your sabbatical. I'm praying for you and Sheila!
