I'm probably an old burnt-out-youth-pastor.
I love teenagers and I love encouraging them to do well.
So when I got permission to go to the dress rehearsal for "Beauty & The Beast" I went. Maddie Helman got the role of the "Beauty." She's been in the church since she was a little-bitty-baby, so I grabbed my camera and drove to Penn to snap a few photos. I liked this one, so I'm sharing it with you.
If you can carve out the time, you should head to Penn High School and watch the musical. The cast is doing three performances this week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. It's one of Disney's best...and a bunch of our kids are in it.
Jeremiah 29:6a - Encourage your children...
Thank you Mark, for taking the time to carry on the tradition with the Helman's. What will we do after this year???

Mark, having you there again is a true blessing, and, as Jamie shared, part of our tradition and "making memories." Thanks for coming and demonstrating how much the children of our church really matter to you.

I already have my tickets in hand and can't wait to be there to support Maddie on Saturday night. She is incredible and I'm so pumped for her. Great picture too!!!
