Seven days for seven pictures of leaves?
Why?
Well, because I'm curious, and after seven days have passed I'm going to ask you to tell me which of the seven "leaf" pictures you like best.
Also, since the leaves are changing, and we don't often like to admit things have changed, I'm going to give you a painless injection of reality; things are changing in our culture too. So each day I'm commenting on a current reality that's quite surprising to most folks over 50 years old.
Today's observation:
Nothing makes you seem older and more out of touch than mentioning your "beeper," a "floppy disk" or your "home phone."
Isaiah 64:3
We're all sin-infected, sin-contaminated.
Our best efforts are grease-stained rags.
We dry up like autumn leaves—
sin-dried, we're blown off by the wind.
Floppy Disks! I just recently copied thousands of files from mine to a Thumb drive and threw them (the Floppy disks) all away. Moving on to more modern times.
