The way you look at things effects they way you see things.
Look at everything as a problem and you get resentful about life's hardships. See things as problems and you live in the valley of trials. If everything is a big problem to you, you miss the moments and, worse still, you become a very unpleasant person.
Look at everything as an opportunity and you get engaged, connected and involved as you are drawn to new experiences that enrich your life. See things as opportunities and you'll build a lifetime of memories, climbing the mountains before you with the expectation that God has put you there for good reason...even if you can't see His "reason" at the time.
I spent some time thinking about that during my 17-day Alaskan adventure.
Romans 8:28 - And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
