Preliminary Reports Are VERY Encouraging.

I just received this news from my friend Ron Vandergriend:

"News flash:  According to preliminary reports, the 2011 India Census reports the population of Christians to be 5.8% nation wide.  Last Census it was 2.3%.  That is an increase of 155% or 35 million people in the last 10 years!" 

This amazing story of redemption is happening in a Hindu culture, where the Brahmans use the "untouchables" to serve them. Turbulent days are ahead. The "cast society" of these new Christ-followers isn't predisposed to social mobility and few migrate from one cast to another. It's shocking to learn the "untouchables" are so valuable to God that HE sent HIS Son to seek and save them all. Once people understand and embrace that truth, it's more and more difficult to treat humans like animals.

God is lavishing HIS amazing grace on our friends in India. HIS Kingdom is coming in more ways than we can possibly understand, in more places than we can possibly know.

Revelation 14:6  -  I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people.
