Sheila and I were thrilled to learn April Gann would be with us again this year, leading GCC's two weeks of our Day Camp and helping Michiana's children know Jesus.
April is awesome. Here she is, welcoming the kids this morning as the doors open behind her.
SpringHill brings scores of staff and lots of equipment designed to enhance the Day Camp experience for our kids.
I've decided the safest place to be is harnessed in and secured to the safety ropes on the climbing wall. It looks scary, but nothing is safer.
The temperature hit 92 degrees today so the water activities provided welcome relief from the heat.
Mark 10:16 - Jesus took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
I love April and I love that picture of April! It truly captures the essence of who she is day in and day out. So thrilled the kids in Granger can be a part of Day Camp!

You couldn't be more right Mark, April is awesome. Her tenacity for life, children, and the Lord is as genuine as it is contagious.

My son is in that picture being welcomed by April. He's at day camp this week thanks to a scholarship from the church. He woke up early today singing songs about Jesus and excited to go back. I can't thank you enough. :-)
