Center for the Homeless Miracle Auction

 

 

Sheila and I went to the annual "Dancing With Our Stars Miracle Auction" last night. We saw a zillion folks from GCC, all gathered to support the great work of the Center for the Homeless. 

Steve Camilleri, the Executive Director, launched the evening with special "Thanks" to those who worked so hard and gave so much to make the event a success. Sheila and I sponsored a child but those who donated time, talent and "treasure-for-auction" did even more. They brought the community together to fund the multi-million dollar annual budget of the Center for the Homeless.

My special thanks to Rick Van Vlasslaer & Maribeth Roncz for their tremendous leadership. Their herculean efforts to unite Michiana in this important ministry are laudable.

I'm honored to be part of a community so willing to help our guests at the Center receive the tools they need to break the cycle of homelessness.
