Today I spent some time talking with really bright people about some of the issues of the day. I wasn't preaching until 10:45 so it seemed a good way to invest the morning.

One of our discussion topics could be summarized this way: "If righteousness is defined as what I decide it should be, I am a righteous man. However, if righteousness is GOD's purview, I'm wise to adjust my life to GOD's already existent standard of righteousness."

It was a good discussion.
