My days are filled with challenges. I realize your days may be trouble-free, but where I’m living there are trials and tests at every turn.
Like...
- “How do I get up my roof with our backpack leaf blower, nicknamed ‘The Cow Tipper’ because of its hurricane force, and still get to my next meeting on time, since my upcoming Emergency Room visit will carve such a big chunk of time out of my afternoon?”
- “Since only two weeks separate me from Christmas Day, how will I have enough time to create a meaningful, personalized Christmas gift for every person I’ve ever met in my entire life?”
- “How are we going to get more than a thousand children trained to sing Christmas Songs during GCC's worship services this weekend?”
Oh. Wait a minute.
Apparently, some of our teammates have created fantastic videos so children can practice their songs.
Whew! Looks like I can chalk one difficulty off of today’s list of challenges. All the kids need to do is sing along as they watch the videos, and they’ll learn to sing songs of joy.
Simple.
Fun.
Beautiful.
Psalm 67:4 - Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world.
